The determined admission arrangements for 2019/20 are available in the admissions policy which can be found below.
Any person, or body, that considers that the determined arrangements are unlawful, or not in compliance with the School Admissions Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator. Objections must be submitted to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator by 15 May 2018.
Wolverhampton Local Authority requires that parents of children entering Reception (age 5) must complete the appropriate application form indicating their school preference. These forms are available and returnable to school. It is important that parents complete this form. Admission to Field View Primary Nursery does not guarantee admission to Reception.
In-year admission into primary schools is arranged by the Local Authority. Application forms are collected from, and returned to the Civic Centre in Wolverhampton. Once allocated to Field View Primary School, you are invited into school to meet with the Headteacher to discuss the next steps prior to admission and there will be an opportunity given to the child and parents to meet the class teacher and children in their age group.
The standard number of children to be admitted to any one year group is 60. If the total number of children seeking admission to any one year group exceeds the admission limit, the Local Authority will allocate places on the basis of the following list:
